New Tab Music 001 is a journey deep into the mind palace of rising Italian star Carlo Whale. Featuring a remix by Echonomist, ‘Inner Self’ conjures electronic dreamscapes that oscillate between forceful energy and introspection. An artful demonstration with much to unpack.
‘Inner Self’ plums the depths of pure feeling, exploring the emotional fringes of dance music with an angelic lead synth and starry-eyed nostalgia. Carlo strips away all distractions – raw, honest feeling shrouded in a silky mist of resonance is all that remains.
‘Broken’ is a minimalistic groover that hits where it matters. Pulsating bass stabs and an infectiously minimal beat create a hailstorm of must-move energy. In a stunning dichotomy, rays of celestial pads break the energy, allowing the track to hit that much harder.
‘Stream of Consciousness’ is set where force and feeling intersect. A warm, soothing lead infuses the dancefloor smasher with anthemic qualities, while percussive stabs and a mighty bass arpeggio bring shattering peak-time energy.
Echonomist brings his singularly eclectic aesthetic to ‘Inner Self’. Drawing on Synth-pop, the Greek producer’s blippy and electric rendition lifts the dreamy original into more joyous echelons with unrivaled musicality.

One Way To Know EP
Final Request
New Tab unveils their second EP, featuring Shanghai based producer Final Request with his ‘One Way to Know’ EP. On this latest sonic voyage, he crafts two melodic masterpieces with an additional remix of the title track by Kevin De Vries.
Starting with the title track “One Way to Know”, a kick paired with an ethereal pad sets the mood until the vocal comes in to communicate a beautiful message that will surely catch the ear of the listener and spark a deep connection with the current state of the world. This paired with minimalistic percussion, additional lush pads and synths brings the track together cohesively and the final product is a piece that easily has the potential to be a modern anthem.
Moving forward to “Revivo”, we are presented with a solid instrumental track this time around that is more tailored for the peak moments in a set. Injecting the right amount of psychedelia with the bassline and epic synth leads the track continues to build, which will surely have any progressive dance floor in a frenzy by the time the kick and percussion return in the final half of the arrangement.
Wrapping up the release with Kevin De Vries’s stellar interpretation of “One Way to Know”, he keeps the ethereal vibe of the original but while adding a new groove in the drum programming along with his own trance leads, which add a new dimension of sound. This continues to evolve until the angelic choral singing comes into play that work as additional pad layers or as vocals in their own right that creates a version that is destined to work in a large festival setting but also in the smaller and more intimate club atmosphere.

Love is the Law EP
Max Von Sternberg, Adana Twins
In this package, Max joins forces again with the bewitching voice talent of Danish artist Alice Rose, for two hypnotic and highly emotional tracks. ‚Mod Undergrunden‘ kicks off with a galloping staccato groove and a mystic mantra and the path unravels, what starts as an arduous journey through a dark forest slowly opens out into a brilliant dawn, and as her chants embrace you, the mist lifts into a bright cerulean sky.
‚Love is the Law‘ is a stricter dancefloor affair, heavy with impassive declarations punctuated by a bellowing, gliding lead. Alice convinces, a heart beats underwater, and sharply tuned instruments are both judge and jury in this outspoken exposition. This track is then reinterpreted by the inimitable Adana Twins, who apply their retro-future tradecraft in their uniquely untamed, deeply satisfying form.

Argia - Lost Skin
Argia, Ruede Hagelstein
New Tab proudly presents catalog 004, ‚Lost Skin EP‘ by Spanish producer Argia, a tight package of two wonderful original tracks accompanied by a wistful Ruede Hagelstein remix. Although Argia is a relatively new name to the scene, the force behind is a classically-trained, meticulous artist with a long list of accolades to her name and a very strong fan base.
Argia’s delicate musicality and razor-sharp technique show strongly in the title track ‚Lost Skin‘. A disciplined, introspective groove welcomes you into the arms of her own voice, enthralling you, while sweet plucks answer distant rumbles of bass on the horizon. Questions are raised, the mind wanders, but soon all is forgotten as a promethean lead arrives and the body is commanded back into a primal dance.
‚Firmamento‘ comes next, from the start a clear proposal for movement, a journey in the sky with organic percussion in the cockpit, while glide-heavy synth leads maintain a steady hand on the yoke. Free-running oscillators, sustained bass and fluffy pads provide the perfect backdrop for this enchanting passage.
Rounding out the package is a Ruede Hagelstein remix of ‚Lost Skin‘. A muted, highly controlled groove extracts the most power from Argia’s vocals, patiently building a methodical exposition, brick by brick raising an emotional story that slowly unfolds, yet richly rewards.

As a promoter, DJ, and producer, Denes Toth is a driving force in the Slovak electronic music scene. New Tab is proud to welcome Denes’ vigorous brand of melodic dance music to the label with the four-tracker ‘Automagic’ for catalog number 006.
What sets Denes apart is the effortless way he crafts energetic progression, with massive peaks and expertly engineered breaks that never feel forced. The monumental musicality of his tracks stands out in particular: rather than overload on melodies, Denes uses micro-shifts in pitch, frequency modulation, and pulsating detune to give his tracks unparalleled melodic feeling.

Blippy pulse-wave synths, crushed sweeps and forcefully pitching arpeggios set ‘Creatures’ in the nostalgia of the 8-bit video game OST. A commanding lead theme rooted in Max’s melancholic soundscapes imbues Creatures with powerful anthemic qualities.
The dramatic theme in ‘Battlestar’ draws its captivating nature from shifts in pitch and tempo. At times slow and monumental, at others frenzied and energetic, Battlestar is a journey through alien worlds filled with unimagined wonders.
‘Twilight Zone’ takes Max’s introspective aesthetic back to the future. Bright and blippy synths set to a stripped groove and celestial pads transport the listener to the youthful joys of the classic arcade.
